We provide non-medical, practical support to help you navigate your daily life with ease, whether it’s appointment management, housekeeping, pet care, planning and preparing your meals, so you can always have healthy and delicious options.

    Shallion Support is a bespoke home support service that assists individuals with autoimmune conditions like M.E., fibromyalgia, and PTSD by offering non-medical help with daily tasks.
  • Who qualifies for your services?
    Anyone with an autoimmune condition and qualify under PIP or Limited Capability for Work through Universal Credit can apply.
  • What conditions do you specifically support?
    We focus on supporting individuals with conditions such as M.E., Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Lupus and other autoimmune- related illnesses.
  • What type of tasks can you help with?
    We help with tasks like collaborative meal planning, housekeeping, IT support, managing appointments and assisting with daily activities that can be overwhelming due to fatigue.
  • Do I need to pay for your services?
    This will be determined during the free consultation, as fees are assessed based on individual financial circumstances.
  • Can Shallion Support help with transport to appointments?
    Yes, we can assist with transportation to necessary appointments.
  • Do you offer childcare or assistance with homework?
    Yes, we can assist families with tasks like children's homework and general family support.
  • Can you help with shopping or meal preparation?
    Yes, we offer collaborative meal planning, grocery shopping assistance, and help with cooking or baking.
  • Do I need to have a doctor’s note to access your service?
    No, a doctor’s note is not required to access Shallion Support services.
  • Can you assist with IT or managing online appointments?
    Yes, we offer IT support to help clients manage online appointments and other tech-related tasks.
  • Is Shallion Support a medical care service?
    No, Shallion Support does not provide medical or personal care services. We focus on non-medical, practical home support.
  • How do I know if I am eligible for free support?
    If you receive PIP or are on Universal Credit with Limited Capability for Work, you may qualify for free services under our social enterprise model
  • How do I sign up to become a client?
    You can visit our website, fill out an application form, or contact us directly for more information.
  • Is your service available to people without a formal diagnosis?
    No, our service is only available to individuals who are receiving PIP or have Limited Work Capacity under Universal Credit.
  • Do you provide cleaning services?
    We offer light housekeeping but do not focus on cleaning as our primary service.
  • Can I request the same support worker each time?
    We try to provide consistency by assigning the same support worker whenever possible.
  • How flexible are your support hours?
    We aim to provide support at times that are most convenient for our clients.
